Eternal Growth
Title: Eternal Growth
Year: 2023
Material: Epoxy resin, sequoia wood, powder-coated aluminium
Dimensions: Ø 97 cm × 40 cm
Eternal Growth merges meticulous craftsmanship with the poetic force of nature. The table’s surface, crafted from a majestic section of sequoia, reveals the tree’s growth rings—framed and preserved in a layer of deep black epoxy resin. This fusion of organic origin and contemporary materiality transforms the object into a sculptural narrative of time, transience, and continuity.
The warm, radiant orange of the wood stands in striking contrast to the darkness of the resin. It appears as if the tree’s core still glows from within—a symbol of life and energy that extends beyond the material world. The tension between light and shadow, nature and technology, motion and stillness creates a balance between primal essence and artistic transformation.
Eternal Growth is more than a table—it is an homage to growth, decay, and endurance. Through the interplay of material and form, the moment of life is preserved within the work—quiet, powerful, and timeless.
